Methamphetamine Task Force

The Revelstoke Methamphetamine Task Force was community based and coordinated by Community Connections and was created to educate and raise public awareness about Crystal Methamphetamine. The task force developed and implemented community based approaches targeting the prevention of production of methamphetamines and usage in Revelstoke. Project activities included: sponsorship of the play "Cranked" for students of Revelstoke Secondary School, creation and distribution of the  “DON’T METH AROUND” wristbands, surveying the community on its knowledge of Crystal Meth, accessing and distributing information regarding Crystal Meth to the community and holding a public forum.
